I was on vacations in those days, when received an email from Chris asking me if I also do family photography in Costa Brava. Wow, it sounded so good after two weeks in wet St.Petersburg. Of course, I do family sessions (furthermore I adore little ones), after exchanged several emails we started planning everything: time, locations. “Oh Gosh” was my first thought and my excitement had no limits, when Nuria sent some photographs of their sweet kids. Four kids! This family seemed to be a lil challenge, but yay, I haven’t worked before with such a big families, what made me so happy.
On Saturday afternoon I arrived to Begur..Oh My! Costa Brava is so gorgeous, those coves, clean turquoise water, serpentine roads.. One big love!
With Alex we had a special connection just from the first second. She was easy to talk to, all the way beside me asking about photography. How to do it, where to press the button, and so on.. Almost in the end of the photoshooting she timidly asked me “can I try it?”. I’ve changed to my 50mm lens that wasn’t too heavy for her and let her make a photo of me.
When annoying heat had changed by light breeze in the late afternoon, we went down to explore the cove “Cala d’Aiguafreda”. Benj dreaming about his ice-cream 🙂 It’s not easy game to win the confidence of a kid at the beginning, especially when the only thing he wants is an ice-cream! But you, a strange person, he sees the first time in his life, keep running behind with your big camera, asking him to smile 🙂To tell the truth, I was a bit jealous… Imagining being them..
Who’s the firssstt???A model is growing up, look at her pace.Salty breeze in the hair.
After all… a romantic moment for parents 🙂Which didn’t last too long..
The summer is coming, if you want family photography session in Costa Brava or Barcelona, as a great way to freeze up your family moments, just let me know. It will be a pleasure to tell it through photographs.
